'Degree By Request' Screen

Description

The 'Degree By Request' screen allows the adding and withdrawing of Degree By Requests (DbR). DbR are used when one Lodge is going to have another Lodge complete a ceremony on their behalf, for example Passing or Raising one of their members. 

DbR should be organised off system between two Lodges and then added to Hermes by the requesting Lodge. Once added, the request is sent to the WM of the requesting Lodge for approval. Once approved an email is sent to the performing Lodge Secretary advising them and that Secretary will be able to add the ceremony to their agenda.

If at any point the DbR needs to be withdrawn, for example if the member is unable to attend the ceremony at the performing Lodge then the requesting Secretary should log in to Hermes and 'Withdraw' the DbR.

Options Available

•  Add a Degree By Request - Allows you to request another Lodge complete a ceremony for one of your members on your Lodge's behalf. 

•  Withdraw a Degree By Request - If a Degree By Request needs to be cancelled, such as if the member is unable to attend, then it should be withdrawn.
