Hermes 'Training Webinars'
Description
In this section you can access all of the Hermes Training Videos and Webinars that have been created. Below is a list of those available, all of which can be watched in your own time and at your own speed. Simply click the name of the section you wish to watch content about and it will take you to a page where you can play the video. All webinars can be made fullscreen to ensure you are able to follow the content. We strongly recommend watching all of these webinars to aid you with your transition to Hermes.
Please Note: In 2025 we have updated the training videos with a new collection, using first-hand experience of Hermes to improve the training content and make it more relevant to you. However, should you wish to access the old webinars, please use the link towards the bottom of this screen.
Webinars Available
1. 'Introduction to Hermes' - This section includes an introduction to the training videos and Hermes itself, how to log in for the first time and set your security questions and passwords, the home screen, side-menu and navigating, differences between Lodges and Chapters within Hermes and raising Support Requests to ask for help and support.
2. 'Lodge Management' - This section covers the different areas of the Lodge Management section, within Hermes. Covered is the Lodge Information Screen, which allows you to check a variety of information related to your Lodge, as well as adding any meeting dates that can't be calculated. The Lodge Officers screen, allowing you to see a current list of Officers and add an 'Office Specific Email Address'. The Dispensations screen, showing how to apply for, and ultimately download a dispensation and finally how to process an Annual Return on Hermes.
3. 'Meeting Management' - This section includes a number of videos about the Meeting Management area of Hermes. You will see how to process a meeting through Hermes, including creating an agenda, completing your attendance register and Post Meeting Report, but also how to download the agenda, attendance register and Post Meeting Report and their uses. Additionally, topics such as Installation Meetings, Past Meetings and specific examples such as processing an Initiation and Passing are shown.
4. 'Membership Management' - In this section you will see videos about both your current and past members and the information available relating to them. You will see how to amend data relating to your members such as updating their contact details or marking them as resigned, or applying for a Degree By Request to ask another Lodge to Pass or Raise them. It then progresses to videos covering the prospective member process, which is the process used when you have a new candidate for Initiation or new Joiner.
5. 'Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - This section answers Frequently Asked Questions, niche scenarios and points of common confusion. Should you have a query, we recommend you check here first to see if there is a suitable answer.
6. 'Superusers & Support Analysts' - This section is just for those who your Province have nominated to provide support and assistance to Hermes Administrators.
