Updating an 'Address' (UK)

Description

Every member should have an 'Address' recorded against their record. This should be their Primary Residential Address and should be updated if you are advised that they have moved house. Should the member have Additional Residential Addresses, PO Boxes or Work Addresses they would like recorded against their record, this can be done by your 'Regional Office' using ADelphi. Should a member wish to receive post from UGLE (e.g. the FMT magazine) to one of these alternative addresses this can also be arranged and updated by the 'Regional Office'. Unfortunately you may only see, and update, the Primary Residential Address with Hermes.

UK Addresses must be entered using a postcode finder tool, which will ensure that any addresses entered are valid and match Royal Mail records.

• You can enter only part of a postcode and search to reveal all postcodes which match what you've entered (e.g. WC2B 5A)

• You can also add a property number after the postcode to further refine the search (e.g. WC2B 5AZ 60)
