Using 'Copy Email Addresses'

Description

The 'Copy Email Addresses' button is located on the 'Current Members' list. It will immediately copy all current member (including Honorary and Honorary Never Subscribing) 'Personal Email Addresses' to your clipboard. You will then be able to paste these in to a new email (we recommend using the BCC field) to send an email to your units entire membership. Should you wish to remove certain names, this can be done manually by deleting them from the BCC field before clicking send.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the 'Current Members' list

Step 2: Click the 'Copy Email Addresses' button

Step 3: Open an email in your preferred email client (e.g. Outlook/Gmail/Hotmail etc)

Step 4: Paste in the 'BCC' field

Additional Information

• The 'Copy Email Addresses' functionality should be used when needing to contact your unit. You should no longer keep seperate lists of contact details for individuals as these can quickly become out of date and incorrect. By using this functionality, as soon as an email address is updated within the system (even by the Secretary of another Lodge), you will see the updated record.

• We strongly recommend the use of BCC when emailing a large number of individuals as they may not wish for others to have their personal email address.
